Simple yet powerful, the 3-Card Spread offers clear, focused insight into a specific question or area of your life. It’s ideal for those new to tarot or anyone seeking straightforward guidance without too much complexity.

Each of the three cards represents a different aspect of your situation — most often interpreted as Past, Present, and Future, or sometimes Mind, Body, and Spirit, or Situation, Challenge, and Advice. Together, they form a snapshot of where you’ve been, where you are now, and the direction things may be heading.

This spread brings clarity to everyday concerns, decisions, or emotional crossroads. It helps you tune into your intuition, recognise patterns, and see your next steps with greater understanding and confidence.

For all my readings, I use a transparent deck that allows me to build up multiple layers, so the story the cards tell becomes increasingly multi layered. A 3-card reading can blossom into a 9-card spread, if the cards are feeling chatty, which they often are, and a Celtic Cross can expand from the traditional 10 cards, up to 30 cards.

I’m constantly amazed by how deeply they dive into every reading, and how consistently accurate they can be.
